Thomas Addy (366) and Paul Lamb (408) battle for fourth late in the opening Open Pro/Expert moto at the third round of the Northeast Classic Series at Walden Motocross on April 6th.

Jeremy Parsons and Matthew Fisk led the start of the opening Open B moto. The pack quickly spread out on the fast and technical racecourse, making the start critical. Fisk took over the point position near the middle of lap one, dropping Parsons to second. John Buchaman, Michael Voorhees and Matthew Moore rounded out the top five. Fisk set a blistering pace, starting lap two with a nine second advantage. Buchaman and Moore took over second and third, relegating Voorhees to fourth and Daren Ogden held fifth. Fisk’s lead dropped to eight seconds at the start of the white flag lap and was six seconds at the checkers. Buchaman, Moore, Voorhees and Ogden closed out the top five.

Marshall Hurd (24) and John Buchaman (911) lead the pack out of the first turn in the final Open B division moto at round three of the Northeast Classic Motocross Series at Walden Motocross on April 6th, in Wallkill, New York.

Marshall Hurd, Buchaman, Fisk, Nick Palazzda and Scott Carroll led the start of the final Open B moto. Hurd had a five second cushion by the start of lap two and the top three were unchanged. Carroll passed Palazzda taking fourth. Fisk closed the gap on Buchaman and made the pass for second just after starting lap three. Fisk closed the gap on Hurd and reduced Hurd’s lead to three seconds at the start of the last lap. Hurd held on to take the win with a two second lead. Fisk, Ogden, Moore and Carroll closed out the top five.

Casey Clark (97), Carlo Coen (1) and Dakota Kessler (49) lead the start of the final Open Pro/Expert moto at the Northeast Classic Series at Walden Motocross 
in Wallkill, New York on April 6th.

Bromley Suzuki backed veteran, Barry Carsten, battled with Cernic’s backed, Jay Weller, and Kawasaki pilot, Paul Lamb to capture the overall in the Open Pro/Expert class. Carsten (2-1) topped the podium, Weller (1-4) finished second and Lamb (5-2) third.   

Carlo Coen, Casey Clark, Carsten, Weller and Michael Stryker led the pack out of the first turn in the opening Open Pro/Expert moto. Weller relegated Carsten to second just before the pack entered the back section of the racecourse. Coen continued to lead but was felling pressure from Weller and Carsten. Clark and Charles Fox rounded out the top five. Coen and Weller began the second lap by crossing the finish line side by side as the two battled for the lead. Weller secured the position by the following turn. Then Carsten got by Coen taking second. Coen was relegated to third. Fox was now fourth and Thomas Addy fifth. Weller took the win with a five second lead. Carsten, Fox, Addy and Lamb closed out the top five.

Clark, Weller, Carsten, Stryker and Lamb led the start of the final Open Pro/Expert moto. Weller went down in the back section of the course and Carsten, Lamb, Clark, Stryker and Coen inherited first through fifth. Carsten started lap two with a two second advantage. Carsten kept his pace consistent and took the checkered flag two seconds ahead of Lamb. Clark, Weller and Stryker rounded out the top five.
